Villa San Miguel responded as above, meaning that paying off the old Elec bill is the main problem to be taken care of by HOA people and by doing so will free VSM yo handle their own business.

If anyone can translate better for me , please do ,as I am not yet totally adept.

Congratulations and thanks for all the effort. Sounds like it's working to me! I'm one of those that checked out the site but hadn't posted.

Anyway, I'm up way too late (and was bored) and decided to compare the blog in that same time period (last 60 days).
On the blog there were a total of 13 postings.
7 blogs and 6 comments.
2 comments were by someone asking not to be on the blog.
1 comment was by a spammer.
So really just 3 comments/responses.

Is it because it isn't safe or isn't anyone listening??? LOL
I think I better go to bed. Keep it up Diablo (and don't let "him" bully you)!!!!

Volunteer Efforts Applauded

This morning over 50 students from UABC, gave up their Saturday to clean up the river banks from the other side of the freeway to our lagoon. They rolled tires and collected bags of trash, plastic, and waste of all types. This will give our area a much cleaner look and be much healthier for everybody. I hope that similar efforts will take place in the US by ecologically conscious students. Hats off to the Mexican student volunteers!

Enough of the finger pointing and blaming! This is not an anti-H** site nor a Tit for tat with any b**g (though it appears that way lately)! El Diablo has edited and deleted several posts that were "anti-anything" in the hope that we get back into the solution. All future posts will be screened (perhaps edited) before being posted.

This site was set-up for Villager's to kick around ideas and to come up with solutions to problems!

It is a "We" site. A "them and us" approach is a losing proposition. We need to get along and I hope We can right the ship.

Can We please start posting ideas, solutions, and feel good stories and take a LONG break from the bashing?

I am both sad and disapointed to hear that anyone has received personal threats with regard to San Miguel. That is not okay for anyone or any side (Ever)!

We need to get along (even when/if we disagree)!!!

I keep asking for suggestions and solutions but they seem to be few and far in between (I am starting to question whether this site is a good idea or going to work).
Now I'm pleading for the positive!

El Diablo: please ... can We all be civil? Random acts of kindness anyone? Please?

Originally dicussed Electrical Payment Plan

First plan had four options: Full payment; 1/2 w/mo payments; 1/4 with higher monthly payments; lower good faith check to be cashed immediately w/ payment plan to be decided. The first payor gave a good faith check on 2-22-07. 8 full payments were deposited in March. A villager worked on a more comprehensive plan, but it was no more well received than the first plan. The last plan suggested full or partial payment $479 (or more) and monthly payments.No change of policy!

If anyone is angry or feeling picked on - please accept my personal apology. I am sorry. That is not the intention or purpose of this site (but don't shoot the messenger).

El Diablo: name shared by two fictional characters published by DC Comics.
Lazarus Lane is the original El Diablo, operating in the latter half of the 19th Century in the old American West. Lane was originally a bank teller who is nearly killed by a gang of thieves and put in a coma after being hit by lightning. After being revived by a Native American shaman, Lane becomes a vigilante and called himself El Diablo.

Lastly, after reviewing some of the posts, El Diablo has edited and removed a few posts that had "personal attacks." Sorry if yours was edited (or deleted) but that is not the purpose of this site.

Update on Thief

Received a short update. The thief is in jail for a few months (and the boards are safe in jail).
Additional security measures should still be encouraged!!

El Diablo: why are the surf boards incarcerated? Doesn't seem fair.
I will post it here the minute I have any other information!
